At least for the next week. To any non Houstonian readers, it's okay, roll your eyes, laugh, giggle, etc. Yes we are doing the absolute most about our 1 inch of snow, but give us a break, we hardly see snow down here so it's quite the event.
I woke up, checked my phone, saw a few texts and calls, returned said calls, and then when I was finally up for it, looked out the window. One inch was enough to cover everything with a nice little white blanket. The drive into work was beautiful, white and red EVERYWHERE!
Where'd the red come from? Traffic. Because it is Houston after all so there was still traffic but that's ok because it made it look more festive if anything.
While I'm a little chilly this morning, I can't complain much. This weather is the right way to kick off winter and get us all in the Christmas spirit.
