Austin 'fit and feels

Comfort above everything lately that's been our motto! Don't get us wrong, of course we also believe in putting in some effort. As one of our spirit angels, Tan France, says best "Making an effort means you're serious about the life you want!" My version of putting a little effort while also keeping it comfty and casual? A sleeveless shirt dress, hair slicked back, and to top it off, some sneakers to catch your eye and make you do a double take, like one of my favorite pair of NMD's by Adidas. I've obvi always been just a little partial to shoes that stand out in a crowd, they have the power to take what would otherwise be a simple outfit and make it more vibrant and striking. You'll find these shoes at the very top of my '101 things I love about sneakers' list is - how much I love the contrast of the sneakers’ color and shape, to the city or any of their surroundings, it is an art! I've enjoyed it so much so that it has unintentionally led to what is now an ever growing obsession and passion of mine!

This weekend we hit the road once more and headed to one of our favorite neighbors, Austin, TX. For those who’ve visited, you know very well there’s a wonderful feeling that falls over you as soon as you arrive. Maybe it's the excitement and anticipation to be in one of the most unique cities in the world,  maybe it's just Mel and her issue of over romanticizing things, hmm, who knows really? Austin’s cool, carefree vibe totally consumes you and you know that wherever you end up, whether it’s a bar that is literally Christmas all year ‘round, a honky tonk down the street, or a minimal cozy coffee shop, you are where you are meant to be.
