Bree's Fall Faves: 2018
I am looking forward to the crisp cool mornings, the begging of my body to stay in bed just 5 minutes longer, the smell of cinnamon in my coffee, and no lie, the warm delicious feeling of the chocolate fudge cookies the boy makes as they come out of the oven.
Houston keeps me waiting on those mornings for as long as it can though. Houston is stubborn as hell, sticks to its’ nature and stays at a steady 97 degree weather even as we enter fall. It’s an odd thing to take pictures of our fall favorites when everything in my body is shouting for me to also add a portable a/c, a cooling station, and all the cold water I can carry. But you know what’s more stubborn than Houston weather?
A woman just dying to force fall upon us by wearing her fall favorites.
When it comes to my obsessions this season, whether it’s 67 or 97: comfortable office wear with plenty of pockets, sport coats or blazers, and silky skirts are forever at the top of my list. I am a complete SUCKER for a good blazer, deep tones, breezy skirts, loafers, a nice stacked heel, and you can’t forget - the classic black sweater, I no joke pair it with everything. While you may be used to not seeing me AT ALL, or seeing me only in overalls while shooting, your girl actually dies for a soft silky skirt and the classic herringbone pattern.
So whether the temperature drops or we literally just manually drop the a/c temp wherever we may be, this girl will be living in her fall staples.
